AAF District 7 is excited to launch The Mosaic 7!
The Mosaic 7 showcases the most impactful multicultural advertising, marketing, and media moments of the past year, based on submissions from chapters within our five state coverage area.
This initiative employs a unique and thoughtful methodology to spotlight inclusive content, providing valuable insights into audience perceptions of the media they consume.
Judging
After receiving submissions, a diverse panel of consumers will evaluate and score the content according to specific criteria to determine The Mosaic 7. These results play a crucial role in identifying key trends within our industry and guide our efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within our District and industry.
The Mosaic 7 will be revealed at AAF District 7’s Spring Convention on April 5, 2025 in Gulf Shores, AL. A panel of diverse creatives will discuss trends and insights that rise from the winning submissions.
All local Mosaic American Advertising Award winners will be automatically forwarded to District 7 as a submission.
All submissions must be received by March 7, 2025

Mosaic 7 Methodology
The Mosaic 7 is selected by a diverse group of consumers to evaluate video clips of impactful multicultural advertising, marketing, and media content from the past year. Respondents are provided with specific criteria to consider when judging submissions, as outlined below:
- I feel this communication moves our culture forward?
- This communication is emotionally engaging and thought provoking?
- Overall messages are innovative and/or presented in a creative & innovative manner?
- Multicultural people are shown in a positive, honest and authentic way?
- Is the situation presented believable and realistic?
The 7 pieces of content yielding the highest “yes” responses across the five criteria questions are selected to be part of The Mosaic 7.
